How to recover Lost Plans .

If your computer has crashed or for some other reason you feel you have lost your work in Garden Planner is more than likely you can recover a back up of your plan.

The first thing to try is the recover last plan option in the Help menu.

You will see the following window.

Garden Planner will do a backup every 10 minutes and so hopefully you wont have lost much work. Click the OK button and it will open the last backup made. Please note if you have done less than 10 minutes work on your plan then there may not be a backup.

If this step restores the plan the next thing you should do is Choose Save a Copy from the File menu. Then save this backup in your MyPlans list.

If the above doesn't work the next step is to try the previous backup. So again open select Recover Last Plan from the Help menu and this time click where it says click here.

If this step restores the plan the next thing you should do is Choose Save a Copy from the File menu. Then save this backup in your MyPlans list.

But what if the above option doesn't work or the plan you have lost is not the latest backup.

Then open Recover Last Plan from the Help menu and this time click on the link that says backup list. This will show a list simillar to the MyPlans list.

This list does not show thumbnail pictures next to the plan name so don't worry about that.

Click on the name of the plan you wish to load and it will open the backup. If you are happy to keep this backup click save and it will be added to your normal MyPlans list.

These backups are made every 31 minutes, so if you have never worked on a plan for longer than 30 minutes this list may be empty.
