Instructions for the lift the flap bee.

1) print out the page below (choose which version suits your need: with labels, or labels for students to fill in, or no labels).

2) colour in

3) cut the two rectangles, the outer bee and the inner bee picture.

4) rule a line across the middle of the top picture (outer bee) and cut along the line, effectively cutting the picture in half.

5) glue or tape the two halves of the outer bee on top of the picture of the inner bee as shown in the pictures.

Tip: we found it worked well to slightly fold the edges of the two halves of the outer bee and then glue them down.

4) cut along the line accross the center of the top picture, effectively cutting the picture in half.

5) fold along the dashed lines and glue the two halves of the outer butterfly on top of the picture of the inner butterfly as shown in the pictures.
